The island is ready for counter top.  (ok, I need to stick my table leg in this near corner)

My walls are built and ready for counter. 

  We decided to put a notch in each end of the upper wall so it wasn't quite so huge of a wall.  So the counter will flow right around the ends and onto the eating area.

Below is my concept drawing of what the Island will eventually look like.
